Electronics Project Proposal and Management System (ePPMS) – an online tool for life cycle management of Projects in MeitY, is being implemented by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Noida. This initiative, known as the Project Review and Information Management Electronics System (PRIME), aims to design, develop, and implement an electronic Project Proposal Management System (e-PPMS) specifically tailored for MeitY.
PRIME is a comprehensive web-based platform intended to oversee the entire lifecycle of project funding. It begins with the online submission of project proposals and extends through the stages of review, recommendation, and archival. By transitioning to a digital format, PRIME seeks to eliminate paper-based processes, thereby fostering greater transparency and efficiency in the funding process.
One of the primary objectives of PRIME is to provide easy access to information and a seamless, user-friendly system for all end users. The platform includes built-in communication models and tools that allow for straightforward tracking of proposal status. These features ensure that researchers receive timely updates on their applications, significantly reducing unnecessary delays and enhancing the overall efficiency of the project management process.
