HPC division has been actively supporting C-DAC in the following activities for competence building.
- HPC compute infrastructure has been developed for R&D community across the nation for HPC & AI workloads.
- Param Siddhi-Airawat AI (PSAI), the high-performance computing-artificial intelligence (HPC-AI) supercomputer established under National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) at C-DAC Pune has achieved global ranking of 75 in TOP 500 most powerful non-distributed computer systems in the world released on 16th November 2020. The supercomputer has 410 AI Flops.
- Indigenous Server node has been developed and manufacturing is being done for upcoming HPC system requirements. Various other indigenous supercomputing technologies are being developed in in line with Aatam Nirbhar Bharat.
- Course curriculums for short term, long term courses and formal educational courses at UG and PG levels have been developed to impart training in supercomputing. It is being done through collaboration with academia and industry in various aspects of HPC including training in parallel programming skills.
