Wavelength: In the electromagnetic spectrum, wavelength is the complete distance of a wave cycle between any two points in the same phase.

Wi-MAX: Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access shortened to Wi-MAX is a broadband wireless network technology that utilises fixed antennas for providing 2-way broadband connections to consumers over distances.WLAN: WLANs or Wireless Local Area Networks is a local area network that offers wireless network communication over relatively shorter distances. With WLAN there is flexibility to the networking by using radio or infrared signals or an extension to the current wired network.
